Hi Team,

could you help to understand which fialure are included in "output not in specifciation".

How do you define this?
What is included ? e.g. drift, output toggling?
Is there a seperate sub-distribution for these categories?

I am refering to chapter 3 of our functional safety information below.

Hey Khai-

" output not in specification" means output falls out of datasheet accuracy spec. There is no sub-distributions.

can you list which failures are covered by this? Like drift, output oscillating etc.?

Hi together,

is an oscillating output voltage also in the category "not in spec"? If yes, can you specify how big the percentage of the total "not in spec" is?

Or is this output state not possible by design?

Hey Henrik,

Yes, an oscillating output voltage is also in the 'not in spec' category. We don't have sub-distributions but instability would more likely arise from using capacitors with little margin or outside specification.
