Hi Andy,

This high-current single-string configuration may not be suitable for our application. Our customer's backlight design involves multiple LED strings, each consisting of many LED beads connected in series. Due to variations in LED characteristics, the actual voltage of each string can differ—sometimes by as much as 0.3V or more.

If all these strings are connected in parallel, the current distribution across each string will vary significantly, resulting in noticeable brightness inconsistencies. The deviation in brightness could be quite substantial.
