Hi Team,
When plugging or unplugging the RJ45 connector while power is applied, the POE IC TPS23731 gets damaged.
Measurement of the IC revealed that pin CP is shorted to GND.
During repeated RJ45 plug-in and removal, the measured MOSFET Vds exceeds the specification.
Vds 49.3V，SPEC MAX 45V
Increasing C717 to 4 nF did not improve this issue.
