Tool/software:

hi experts,

Please recommend the two products below.

1. Low EMI Step down converter

- input voltage: 12 - 28VDC

- output voltage : 5V

- Current : 1.5~2A

- Please recommend a product with excellent EMI performance among LMR33620 and LMR43620.
Or please recommend another better device

2. LDO

- Input Voltage : 5V

- Output Voltage : 3.3V

- Current : 0.5A

- Please recommend LDO that has less impact from EMI

thanks,

  • Hi,

    For your buck converter requirement (12–28 V → 5 V, 1.5–2 A):

    • Both LMR33620 and LMR43620 are good options.
    • If EMI performance is the main concern, the LMR43620 is preferred. It includes spread spectrum modulation and improved packaging for lower radiated EMI compared to the LMR33620.
    • If you need more margin, you can also look at LMR33630-Q1 (3 A).
    • For even stricter EMI requirements, the LM76002/03-Q1 family is another good candidate.

    For the LDO (5 V → 3.3 V, 0.5 A):

    • A good balance of performance and availability is the TLV76733 (up to 1 A).
    • For higher PSRR and lower noise/EMI sensitivity, consider TPS7A91 or TPS7A47 families depending on your noise requirements.
    • If current <200 mA, the TPS7A20 is an ultra-low noise option.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks and Regards,
