The customer wants to design for displays ranging from 7" to 21.5" and use jumpers to select different power sources and currents based on the display panel.

Hi Peter,

Pls kindly find my comments as shown below:

(1) Change C11 to 15nF; Add Rdamp (paralled with C11) as 20Mohm.

(2) Add 100ohm resistor which is connected with CSN pin. (Refer to below schematic which is RFLT)

(3) No Csense in current schematic, pls kindly add it according to datasheet equation.

Hi Lucia,

Customer has a question about Rdamp!

Adding Rdamp of 20Mohm is equivalent to an open circuit, which is meaningless.

Please help to clarify it.

Hi Peter,

Even though 20Mohm Rdamp is quite large resistor but it's not exactly same as open circuit. It can help to suppress the overshoot current at rising edge of PWM on.
