Tool/software:
Hello,
In Datasheet, under Recommended Operating Conditions maximum value of Cathode voltage (VKA) is mentioned as 36V. But in our application it might be possible that we could cross this value up to 42V.
My concern is if we are limiting the current through it, IKA to ~2mA, will this shunt regulator IC still be able to sustain VKA of 42V (Pd = ~84mW) ? Will it have any effect on reliability or life time of IC?
Thanking you in advance.
