BQ25792: BQ25792 switchen between load batt 0A and 63A

Hi Erik,

I am not understanding the fault.  Also, the title mentions 63A?  This charge max charger current is 5A and max dc discharge current is 6A. Can you provide your schematic?

Hello Jeff, I understand it but it was the bq send over I2C some times

at the most of the BQ the loader give when is not charging  0A ofcourse but some time het is switchen between 0 and 63

I do not see any obvious errors on the schematic. The 63A is not correct. This much current would destroy the IC.  I assume this is from the ADC IBAT channel?  What do the charger's status and fault registers in REG0x1B through REG0x27 report for a successfully charged battery and one that reports 63A?

Hello Jeff thanks for your answer, he is doing this when the battery is connected and he isn't charging then he show this values. we see that because our processor read the values.

Hi Erik,

Is it possible that the software is incorrectly converting the bits to numbers?  The current registers are 2's complement.  All registers are big endianess.

Hello Jeff, thanks for your reply. the problem occurs only till now 1 out 10 devices, so it isn't there constant. We will start logging also with the BQ software of TI see if  the same. happens
