Page 15 of the LM3478 datasheet shows a shutdown circuit, and shuts down if the 10k can pull up to a rail of 1.4V or higher...however, is this still the case if the RFA resistor is as high as 180k?

Hello Andrew,
What do you mean with RFA resistor? If this is the resistor on the FA/SD pin, the device needs less current to pull this pin high, so I do not see an issue with having a bigger resistor there.
