TPS63070: User defined undervoltage lockout

Part Number: TPS63070

Tool/software:

Hi,

The TPS63070 datasheet states that it has a "User defined undervoltage lockout" feature on the enable pin. Is this simply a case of setting the voltage at the EN pin with a resistor divider? In this case, a falling threshold of 0.7V typical?

Thanks

  • Hello Joe,

Yes, adding a resistor divider on the EN pin will define the UVLO level for your system.

You need to consider the worst case voltage levels, so 0.7V is typical, but the system could shut down at a voltage of 0.73V on EN and it could as well run down to 0.67V on the EN pin.

    Best regards,
    Brigitte
