Hi, I'm using LM25145RGYR one of our projects.
I need 12 V at 15 A from a 36 V input. I pre-calculated the required components using WEBENCH® Power Designer, but on the PCB the converter does not behave correctly.
When we slowly raise the input voltage from the power supply, the output is stable at 12V between 25V and 32V. Above 32V the output suddenly drops to 3V.
A strange buzzing sound starts when we raise the input from 20V and it gets higher and higher until it disappears around 31V.
In the 27–32 V range, when the output measured 12V, the current consumption was 400 mA. That seems quite high considering there is no load on the output.
What can be the resion for this behavior?
