EV2400: Connecting EV2400 directly to smart battery.

Hi,

Trying to connect SMART Battery with header voltage "14.4 Volts" and connecting onto SMB input...(i.e.Port1) - EV2400.

So..

VOUT1 (14) +14 volts.....................Max Volt =

SDA = 3.3V Data Line Logic.............Max Volt =

SCL = 3.3V Data Line Logic..............Max Volt = 

VSS = GND.

Will EV2400 EVAL BOARD  (i.e. VOUT1) accept +14 volt input - what's maximum voltage rating? 

Is there maximum input voltage rating for inputs in question? Datasheet? 

2) Data Clock frequency SMB:- SDA and SCL transmission.(Freq?) or is this automatic setup in EV2400 Module when selecting gauge bq40z50-R1 .

On the smart battery uses bq40z50-R1.

3) Will EV2400 EVAL BOARD operate whit out connecting smart battery voltage (EV2400 EVAL BOARD)

Just mentoring SDA & SCL lines from smart battery in a read only condition.

    This uses 3.3V level logic, there is no need to attach a voltage to Vout in this case.

    On the smart battery uses bq40z50-R1.

    This will be automatically set by the EV2400 at 100kHz. You can configure for 400kHz once the device is communicating.

    Can you give more details here? If the EV2400 is not connected to the bq40z50, it will not do anything in this case.
