TPS25983EVM: cannot start up

Input: 12V

Output:12V
Issue: The output cannot start up when the load exceeds 12V / 0.6A.
Even after removing the output capacitor, the issue remains.
It seems protection is triggered during startup current.
Is it correct that the circuit cannot operate when power is applied with a load connected?
I’ve already modified components related to inrush current and ILIM, but the output still cannot operate properly above 0.6A.

    Can I know what is the setup of the experiment?
    I would like to know if you have used CC LOAD or CR load and can you provide schematic and waveforms if possible

    t was a CC load and I'm testing it with EVM.
    Do I have to operate at no load and raise the output current when I do EVM testing?
    If there is a load when starting up, it doesn't work, so I ask if it's originally like that.

    You can use the CR load and perform the experiment . You can gradually increase the load if you want a variable load too. But you cannot use CC load during start up 


    CC load starts pulling the current from the point where VOUT=0 as soon as the FET turns on . At that time the FET undergoes a lot of powerstress , since its VIN*I_LOAD and it can be very high and lead to thermal shutdown
