Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-050047, BQ25798,
Hi Team,
We need your assistance to devlop a Power distribution board for other supported products. While doing research came to know about the design guide TIDA-050047. The design guide matches my requirement.
Requirements.
We have to devlope a Power destribution board with PD to charger the Battery. From Battery Power it has to charge Tablet, Power for Printer and other 5V power.
Power Sinking:
Type C + PD (Sink) TPS25751 + Battery charger (BQ25798) to charger 3 Cell battery.
Power Sourcing:
Battery + PD (Source) + following outputs
1. To charge the Tablet, Tablet supporting voltages (v/3A(15W), 9V/2.22A(19.98W), 12V/1.67A(20.04W))
2. 12V,1A Power for Printer
3. 5V, 1A Power: 6-8 channels.
The queries are
1. Is it fine to consider the desgin guide as a reference?
2. Does it require controller to load the configurations or it can be done externally?
3. For sourcing Before PD do I need to consider any buck boost converter for constant voltage if yes Please suggest suitable one.
4. Also if there is any other alternate parts kindly suggest.
