ULN2003A: ULN2003A with date code 2448 have 10% -20% failure

We have been using these IC for years in our UPS to drive the relays, last week found these IC burnt during Unit functional testing, after that we changed over to old batch code no failures. same topic found in forum similar issue has been discussed but no conclusion on the same. would like to discuss on the same

IC date code 2323 OK No issues IC date code 2448 NG

Hi John,

As Alek and Tim asked - "Can you comment on what the loading conditions are for each channel running at the same time? As long as none of the abs max parameters are being in the datasheet, we would not expect any significant increases in failures."

This will help us determine under what conditions the device is running to see if there are any concerns.
