Hi sir,
LP4951C datasheet didn't say OCP & Thermal protection of this device.
Pls show me the protection spec.
Besides, what's the protection behavior? Latch, cycle by cycle, or?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Sean,
The overcurrent and overtemperature behavior are not specified in the datasheet.
OCP should pull the output below regulation to ensure that it keeps output current at the current limit threshold. This threshold varies mostly with temperature and a little bit with headroom.
Thermal shutdown will pull the output to zero until the temperature sensor on the die falls below a threshold temperature, at which point it will turn on again. If the power dissipation is too high, the device will overheat itself again and repeat, thermal cycling.
Best,
Gregory Thompson
