TPS61033-Q1: TPS61033-Q1 issue support

Part Number: TPS61033-Q1

We are currently using the TPS61033QDRL-RQ1 boost converter IC in our GNSS receiver project. Below are the input and output specifications of the device:
  • Input Voltage: 2.5V to 3.7V DC
  • Input Power Source: 3.2V / 50Ah battery
  • Output Voltage: 5V DC
  • Output Current Requirement: Up to 2A continuous
However, we are facing significant issues with this IC. The device is unable to supply more than 100mA, and it appears to be highly sensitive, frequently getting damaged after just one or two power-up attempts. This has led to repeated failures and interruptions in our development process.
We have attached the schematic for your reference and kindly request your assistance in:
Diagnosing the root cause of the failure.
Recommending a more robust alternative IC that can reliably deliver 5V at up to 5A output.
I would greatly appreciate your guidance to help us move forward with a stable and reliable power solution.
