Hi team,

My customer has been looking for the dcdc converter which meets the requirements below. Could you please kindly confirm if we have the device to promote? TPS543321 doesn't meet the requirement of minimum on time..

DCDC converter requirements

Input voltage: 12V

Output voltage: 0.8V – 5V

Output current: 1A – 3A

Switching frequency: 1MHz and 2.2MHz(Selectable switching frequencies over 1MHz is required.)

Minimum on time: 50ns below is required.

Inductor: FUJITSU plans to use 3225 size.

    Hi Shunsuke,

    For 12 V input, 0.8–5 V / 1–3 A, >1 MHz switching, and minimum on-time < 50 ns, the suitable TI bucks are:

    Recommended devices:

    TPS62135 – 17 V VIN, 3 A, 2.5 MHz, ~30–40 ns min on-time
    TPS62086 – 17 V VIN, 3 A, 2.4 MHz, ~35–40 ns min on-time
    TPS62868/TPS62869 - 17V VIN, 1-2 A, 2.2MHz, ~35ns min on-time
    TPS62150A – 17 V VIN, 1 A, 2.5 MHz, ~30 ns min on-time

    All support low-VOUT at >1 MHz and work with 3225 inductors.

    TPS543321 is not suitable due to larger minimum on-time.
