My customer is a manufacture for Auto EPS who uses our TPS653852-Q1. After checking with other similar posts on E2E, I still has some questions that need your kindly guidance.
- Does adding a 10k-ohm resistor aim to protect VCP from gate reverse current like below? Example with IAUCN04S7N012: -100nA*10kohm=-1mV
- Regarding 100uA, is it max source current via the external 10k-ohm load, or a sink current to resist reverse current?
- How do we calculate the sink/source current? Like VCP/10kohm? Customer wants to evaluate the turn-on and turn-off time.
- Do we have some suggested spec for the external N-MOS? Like Qg, or part number. Did not find one on EVM.
