TPS7A8300: How to handle SNS pin when TPS7A8300 work at adjustable operation mode?

Part Number: TPS7A8300

Hi,

I have two questions about TPS7A8300:

  1. When TPS7A8300 work at adjustable operation mode, do I need to disconnect SNS to Output?

     2. Also I need to reserve Cff capacitor for adjustable operation mode?

Thanks in advance!

Best regards!

  • Hi Jason,

When using the TPS7A8300 in adjustable mode, the SNS pin should be left floating. Adding an external feedforward capacitor can help improve PSRR and transient response. This capacitor should be connected between the output pin and FB if used in either adjustable or ANYOUT modes.

    Best Regards,
