Hi there,
I have a problem with the IC TPS51396A when I try to power on. There appears to be a short on all pins to gnd (except NC, PGOOD, MODE).
In both cases, there is no load on vout, both boards assembled by JLCPCB.
So far I have tested on two PCBs.
PCB #1:
- 4V was first applied with current limit of 100mA, no short was detected.
- voltage was increased to 12V, upon power up a short was present.
PCB #2:
- 4V was first applied with a current limit of 100mA, no short was detected.
- Voltage was increased to 12V, upon power up no short was detected; vout was 5V
- After some time of testing, upon power up (12V) a short developed
Both PCBs are share the same layout and components.
Any insight into what I am doing incorrectly would be appreciated.
