BQ41Z90: BQ41Z90 – SPI/UART/I2C interface

Hi TI Team,

I noticed that the BQ41Z90 EVM board has an SPI/UART connector populated.
However, I cannot find any SPI/UART description in the BQ41Z90 datasheet or TRM.

May I confirm:

  1. Does the presence of the SPI/UART interface on the EVM mean that this feature may be supported in the future?

  2. For the current BQ41Z90 device, is I2C communication supported, or does it only support SMBus? I do not see any I2C-specific communication documentation.
