Can the BQ24070 be used with a 2-cell parallel battery (1S2P, nominal voltage 3.7V)?

    Hi Takashi,

    Yes, the BQ24070 can be used with 1S2P battery pack. The two parallel cells will have a larger capacity but the same charging profile as a single cell.

    I also recommend looking at the BQ25185. It's our latest standalone (resistor-programmable, non-I2C) linear charger and integrates several protection features.
