In this datasheet, Given that R1+R2 =100 kOHM, it is compulsory that the sum of R1 and R2 is approx 100K ohm. If yes, then why ,

If no, then what is the minimum value of R1 + R2 we can choose so that i will get out of -2.5V to -6V?

Hello Om,

The 100kohm resistor is so that the current into the feedback pin represents about 1% of the current flowing through the feedback network. If you want to restrict your range from -2.5v to -6v, the recommended combined resistance (R1 + R2) is 60Kohms.
