Hi Team,

I am designing a board with MAX10 Fpga.

Its very size contraint board.

I have to generate two voltages 1.2V & 2.5V from 3.3V input.

I want to have a small LDO IC possible to generate these 1.2V & 2.5V.

Please suggest.

    Hello Kamesh,

    What is the load current needed? Is there a preference between leadless and leaded packages?

    I need SMD package.

    Load current = 250mA

    Please help with small package as i have space cob train in my board.

    Hi Kamesh,

    Thank you for the additional information. 

    If adjustable output is preferred then TLV772 would be a good initial option, this device has a 1x1 plastic package option and SOT-23 depending on preference. A higher performance option for adjustable would be TPS7A90 which comes in a 2.5 X 2.5 plastic package.

    For fixed output options TLV773 would be a good initial option, it is available as well in the 1x1 plastic package and SOT-23. This device also has both a 1.2V and 2.5V output options available in both of its package options. A higher performance option for fixed output would be TPS7A20 which comes in the same package options of 1x1 and SOT-23, with an additional chip-scale option with 0.35mm pitch.
