Part Number: TPS7A8300
Hi Team,
We are expiriancing startup issues at -40c with the TPS7A8300,
The maximum startup time (the time until the PG pin asserts '1') should be 10 mSec.
Our system is designed to wait $10mSec after the EN pin is set high, and then check if the PG (Power Good) pin is equal to '1'.
We are observing a temperature dependency in the startup time:
- At 25C: The PG pin asserts '1' within the required 10 msec
- At -40C : The PG pin is set to '1' significantly after 10 msec
The operating parameters are:
- Input Voltage : 1.8V
- Output Voltage: 1.2V
- Output Current : 0.8V
I ran a simulation in TINA and observed a very short delay of 40µs from EN (Enable) to PG (Power Good) going high.
any ideas why dost the start up is so long at -40c?
