TPS61040-Q1: Absolute maximum ratings of the FB pin of the TPS61040-Q1

Hello

I'm using the TPS61040-Q1 to generate 12V from 5V.
After the 5V is turned off, the 12V slowly decays, resulting in a voltage at the FB pin higher than VIN.
However, the absolute maximum rating of the FB pin is VIN + 0.3V.

Do I need any kind of protection circuitry for the FB pin?

Hi Kozo,

If FB is connected to feedback resistors, it's OK when Vin shutdown while Vout still have voltage for some time. But if connecting FB with a power supply to make FB>VIN+0.3V on purpose, it's not allowed.
