LM317: DI water support confirm

Part Number: LM317

Hi team,

Customer is requesting confirm from us: if our device can support below requirement:

  • Water : Minimum spec DI water at input 0.25uS/cm  (4MΩ-cm)  ,
  • Target spec DI water at input  0.17uS/cm 6MΩ-cm target.
  • Water conductivity : Target water conductivity at end of rinse  20.0uS/cm (50kΩ-cm)
  • DRY TIME IN CHAMBER
  • Time : 30 mins
  • Temp : 85℃      

Support need: could you help confirm this?

    Hi Jayden, 

    While we do use DI water ourselves for cleaning populated PCB's before drying them, We do not provide any official recommendations for any sort of cleaning for boards using our parts. IPC-J-STD-001 should provide a better insight than I can about how to clean created assemblies.
