UCC28782: CC issue

Hi all,

with respect to PMP23224 demo circuit, I would like to set CC limit at 3A only. output voltage set at 8.4VDC

I have traied R63 increases up to 500 ohms. But current limit is not changing.

and  also increasing the R65 value up to 10.2kohms.

Please suggest.

That R65 was also I changed. But current limit set at 8A only.

Before  R65, One more resistor also I changed i.e, R60 with 42.7K instead of 12.7k ohms, in order to get 8.4V output.

Now I am checking output CC at 8.4Vdc. Is there any issue with R60?

changing R60 to 42.37k is fine for 8.4V output.

with 9.53k as R65, CC limit is set to 8A ?

Yes. Even I am decreasing the resistor R65, or increasing the R63 also it is in the same position 8A only.  

I removed R66 (422k) also.

CC limit not changing from 8A. 

Now I have changed the resistor R65 with 12.7k to get 22V output.

At this 22V output also current limit will be 8A only. !!!!!!!!

i want to know how is the CC limit is checked ? is it being checked in simulation or hardware test ?
