TPS25730: use of TPS25730 in combination with TUSB1046

Is it possible to use TPS25730 in combination with TUSB1046 to control the power delivery on usb c port with power delivery (as a sink) and usb 3 and DP alt mode capabilities. can this combination be configured such that if no power delivery source is present on the usb c port the port will provide 5v to the vbus so the port acts as a standard usb 3 usb c port?

Thank you for reaching out!

The TPS25730 is a sink-only PD controller, intended for barrel-jack replacement applications. The TPS25730 does not support USB Data capabilities or DP Alternate Modes.

The TPS25751 may be a better fit as it is DRP capable and supports reporting data capabilities. Note that the TPS25751 does not support DP Alternate Modes and we unfortunately do not have a DP capable device in our portfolio at this time.

I know the TPS65987 isn't recommended for new designs but as my project is small and non commercial is it possible to still use this IC?
