Hello,
I'm investigation the cell balancing capabilities of BQ41Z90.
From datasheet I see that the IC supports up to 50mA bypass current per cell (100mA absolute max rating).
However, I also see that the internal FET RDS_on is between 15Ohm and 46Ohm. If the internal resistance is so high, how can we achieve a 50mA balancing current if a single cell voltage can go up to 4.35V?
I also see that a 20 to 100Ohm external resistor is reccomend, but this would limit the current even more.
