Dear TI techinical support team,

My customer is currently evaluating an IGBT gate driver IC and is planning to conduct double-pulse testing using the UCC5880 EVM. They have the following questions regarding two evaluation board models:
  • UCC5880INVERTEREVM
  • UCC5880QEVM-057
1: We requested documentation for both models this past Monday, but we have not yet received a response. Could you please advise how long it typically takes to obtain these documents?2: Could you briefly explain the differences between the two EVM models, and which one is more suitable for easier connection to an IGBT module?We appreciate your support and look forward to your response.

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Your status is currently pending, and the distributor will also need an NDA. The UCC5880INVERTEREVM is only used for inverters while the UCC5880QEVM-057 is used for other applications. The UCC5880QEVM-057 is more suitable for an IGBT module.
