LM3410: LM3410-Q1: LED driver for LCD display

Part Number: LM3410

Hi!

This is a follow up to my previous query with request no.: E2E1594980

URL: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1594980/lm3410-q1-led-driver-for-lcd-display

The input supply to LM3410 is 5V

  • This seems like a viable option given that Vin is 5V and Vled is ~9V, thus the boost will work.

  • Hi!

Can you please check my schematics?

These are the details of my display:

  • Hello Cleatus,

You haven't given me specifications like input voltage (min, typ, max), desired switching frequency (you will need to select correct part closest to your design desires), output voltage ripple requirements, inductor ripple current requirements, etc.  You need to go through the datasheet and do the calculations to figure out L, Cin, Cout, current sense resistor.  This schematic doesn't even have input and output capacitors.  There is a design example in the datasheet that is close to what you need.  Here is the page with components.
