For the output higher than 50V, we doesn't recommend LP8860.

May I kindly know if you can change the LED number to ensure the output lower than 50V?

I contacted the display manufacturer, and they confirmed that it is not possible to change the LED configuration of the backlight.

Which alternative part number would you recommend that can support an output voltage up to 57V?

Pls kindly take a look on TPS61196-Q1. 

This seems like a good solution; unfortunately, I don’t have the option to control the backlight via a PWM signal. The display control board uses a DS90UB948 deserializer, and the only communication channel with the mainboard is I²C through the FPD-Link.

Would it be feasible to use the LP8865C-Q1 with analog dimming controlled via an I²C DAC? If so, which DAC would you recommend?

I would also like to clarify that the board is powered with 12V (VBAT). Therefore, can the LP8865C-Q1 deliver 57V output with a 12V supply?

LP8865C cannot support a I2C control, for our I2C control solution, the max output is 50V.
