Hello

I would like to inquire about the ucc21750 clmpi pin function

  • Can a phase other than a phase that gives PWM in an interleaved boost converter be self-turn-on by VGS turn-off noise? 
  • If the clmpi function doesn't give me a pwm input, I think it's forced to turn off, but I want to know the exact function

    Hi Hoiwoong,

    Yes, a phase that isn't receiving a PWM can momentarily self-turn-on due to dv/dt induced gate noise.

    Regarding the CLMPI function, I would recommend taking a look at Section 8.3.6 of the UCC21750 datasheet.
