TPS737: IC Damage in Temperature test.

While testing the IC TPS73701DRVR at 48 C for 18 days We observed that the output voltage of the REG is dropped from 2.9 to 1.8V on the 18th day. We tried changing the feedback parts but the issue remains. The problem solved when we changed the IC with a new one. Details are given below.

Endurance Test 48 C - 18 Days

Desired Output Voltage - 2.9 V

Actual output Voltage - 1.8 V

Hey Sreejith,

What's the output current during the test

Did you place the old component on the board to verify that it's a device condition. If not can you please try that.

Thank you for your reply. The Maximum output current is 200mA. We confirmed that it's a device condition.

I don't see any cause for device damage based on what was show. The next step would probably be to submit a return request so that we can determine the cause of the damage.
