Hello, kinda a newbie when it comes to electronics. Anyways I'm trying to set up an interface between an arduino and an lm629. I've been reading the documentation for a while but I can't seem to get any where. When I put the cs/ps/rd pins to logic low I get 63h. I verified this with a logic probe so I think it has something to do with the lm629. I have an encoder hooked up to it but not an H-bridge. Could this be causing the problem? Any push in the right direction would be most helpful.
