Gerber files and Transformer details of PMP5660

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28610, UCC28810

  HI Lisa,

can you also mail me the  Gerber files and Transformer details of PMP5600 as one of my customer wants to develop this  solution.  Possibly if you could give the UC28810 transformer design tool that would be great.

Thanks and Regards

Rupesh

  • It appears that the folder that I have access to is missing these files so I have sent a request to the designer of this circuit.  I will get back to you as soon as I get something.

This design uses the UCC28610; not UC28810.  There is a design calculator in the Tools section of the UCC28610 product folder that calculates the transformer for any User input and output that may help.

  • I just noticed that the title of this post asks about the PMP5660 which uses the UCC28810 controller.  The body of the post asks about the PMP5600 and refers to a UC28810 (no such part exists) and that design actually uses the UCC28610.  One unfortunate thing about this forum is that when replying to a post, the post's title is no longer visible.

So...is the inquiry actually about the PMP5660 UCC28810 design?  I'm running with that assumption and am enclosing the MathCAD file that was used for the design. I do need to track down the Gerbers for this design, but if you really want the PMP5600 Gerbers, I can hook you up with those (I got those for you yesterday).

  • Hi Lisa,

maybe typing mistake. I want PMP5660 solution details like Transformer details, Gerbers. Please send the  Xformer details in word or xls as i was unable to open the matcad file. Other details on webpage is  BOM , schematic and test results.

Below is link to the  Design.

  • The gerber files that were previously sent were from the PMP5660 folder.  As far as I am aware those are the only Gerbers for this reference design.  I don't have any files that show the intimate details of the transformer but the MathCAD file has the inductor and turns calculation.  I enclosed it in pdf form so you can open it.  The manufacturer owns the details of the actual manufacture of the magnetics and you will need to contact them if you need core material, number of windings, etc.
