I was wondering if you can help , with some additional info regarding the thermal performance of the Texas Instruments' UCD7231.
We want to use this gate driver in an area that has no significant airflow.
Our Vin = +12V.
The total gate charge might be either of 27.8nC, or 48.8nC.
Our switching frequency will be 400KHz, possibly less.
We let the 7231 generate Vgg.
Please can you supply an estimate of the power dissipation, our thermal model can give us the temperature rises that we seek.
