Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ20Z80
Hi ,
Some of the batteries with bq20z80 fuel gauge IC display an offset current (10-20mA with 10mohm sense resistor) after discharge, which is supposed to be zero since load is removed. These batteries are for sure properly calibrated and have 0mA current before discharge. This offset current will phase out after resting for few hours. Can someone please check about the mechanism as well as the possible solution for it? Also what could be the maximum offset over the IC operation temperature range? Currently, this offset is causing some conflict with other settings. Also, the customer have got 2 field returned unit might associate with this issue.
