Dear All,
I am working on one project in which I am using your LM5007 for converting 48 V to 24 V. In that I have used the external comparator for over voltage protection. Which short the SW/Ron pin with Gnd when O/P voltage increases beyond 30V.
I am getting the following waveform at the Ron terminal when comparator is changing state from low to high.
Black line shows the ideal transition of comparator. Green trace shows the Practical waveform at the Ron pin. You can see that Green trace is not transferring direct from zero to 1.5 V. It is holding at 0.7 V for around 10 mS. I also checked that this time is fixed for every load condition.
I have removed the external comparator circuit and connected 800KΩ resistor across the Vin pin and Ron pin. Now on this configuration I did the momentary short of Ron pin to Gnd pin (with External wire). But in this case also I got the same waveform.
Can you please give me the reason why this pin shows the this type of waveform.
If you have waveform at different pin, send me.
