Hi.,

I'm trying to find a watchdog with the following attributes

1. It starts at power up - no need to kick it off.

2. Need a simple way to disable it for debug with emulator

3. Needs to be strobed every 20ms - approx to avoid reset.

4. -55C would be good, may get away with -40C

5. Needs a manual reset input

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Calum,

Have you looked into the TPS3823? This device can be disabled by open-circuiting the WDI pin, it can be stobed 20ms to avoid reset (Ttimeout=0.9s), minimum temperature -40 degC, and has MR pin. Below is the product page.
