Would like to check what is the typical current for a LM2852 device at no/low load.

There is a Quiescent current value, my understanding is this value applies when the part is disable via the "enable" pin.

Would a value of 25mA for 5Vin. 3.3V out at no load be reasonable?

The Iq spec on the DS is the supply current with part enabled, but switching disabled.

I checked an evaluation board on the bench, the supply current with part enabled and output voltage regulated (switching) is about 1.5mA. 25mA sounds very high.

Could I check with you, how did you check a no load condition, leave the output unconnected?

Yes, leave the output unconnected.

I took an evaluation board, power it up and run Vin through a multi-meter. Vout is monitored to make sure the part is active, no load is connect to the output port. And read the input current number on the multi meter.
