LM20242 : What is the Max value at 500kHz ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM20242

Hi

I reffered Electrical Characteristics on datasheet of LM20242.

It descrived as follows
  - Fsw1 Max 825MHz (1.1 times of Typ 750kHz)
  - Fsw2 Max 325kHz (1.3 times of Typ 250kHz)

Is that right ?
I think Fsw2 max is 275kHz. That is why 275kHz is 1.1 times of Typ 250kHz.

If Fsw2 Max 325kHz is correct , What is the Max value at 500kHz ?
And pls let me know , why does drifting incude a difference of frequency ?

  • Hi

The spec. table is correct.  The device tolerance at the higher frequency is better than the lower frequency.

You can estimate that the spread will be the same at 500 kHz as it is at 750 kHz (825k - 675k = 150 kHz), so 425kHz to 575kHz.

    Regards,

    Mike
