Automotive-qualified 2-cell Li-Ion Charger: bq24105-Q1

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24105-Q1

Could TI direct me to any reference designs on methods to protect the bq24105-Q1 in automotive applications, where the input voltage could rise above the Vabs_max?  Not necessarily an alternator load dump condition, but a solution to extend the input voltage range to permit survival up to 28Vdc.   I notice several other bq24xxx 2-cell Li+ chargers are rated for 30V (or higher), but do not find any Q1 qualified.

Thanks and regards,

Daniel Godfrey
