TI Team,

On page 27 of the datasheet, the I2C device addresses are shown for each device option. The addresses are listed all as 0x60. I believe this is a misprint here. Should they not all be 0x60, 0x61, 0x62, 0x63 based on the suffix of the part?

No, all the addresses are indeed the same. It is simply a coincidence that the part number is also the address (60).

The main difference between the IC versions is the output voltage range and preset voltages.

Thanks. But how to I uniquely adddress the converters if I have more than one per board?

Hi David,

Yes, the TPS6236x is hardwired to a 7-bit address of 60 as you saw in Table 6. To address multiple devices, you would have to incorporate an i2C MUX, such as the PCA9544A: http://www.ti.com/product/pca9544a . You would then select one of the four channels, talk to the TPS6236x connected to that channel, the other TPS6236x devices would be isolated from the communications.
