Dear Sir

Good days,

I have get BQ24061 EVB and have one question need your help.

When I add 5V power source to BQ24061 EVB and no put bettery, this status STAT1/STAT2 should be "off".(from DS table 3)

But Actually BQ24061 EVB STAT1 is off and STAT2 is on.

May you pls have some suggestion to us?

    Hi Chen,

     

    The STAT1 and STAT2 indicate that the battery is charged and the charge is terminated.

     

    What do you mean by no put battery? Is the battery connected to the BAT terminals of the EVM? What is the voltage on BAT+ of the EVM? Make sure nothing is connected to the BAT terminals of the EVM.

     

    If the battery removed, you should see the Battery-Absent Detection Waveforms of figure 23 in the ds.
