In the TPS51604 datasheet, the recommended operating conditions table lists VCC as 4.5-5.5V. However, the parametric search table shows 4.5-28V and both the product web page and datasheet mention that it's suitable for 12V supply. What's the correct range for VCC??

    There are two input  supplies for a TPS51604 dc/dc converter.  VIN is connected to the drain of the external high side switching FET.  It can be as high as 28 V, which is the maximum recommended voltage for SW.  VDD is the internal supply input for TPS51604.  It is intended to be 5 V, with abs max of 6 V.
