LM26001-Q1 Output voltage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM26001-Q1, LM26001

I would like to know the operation of LM26001-Q1.

I attached the file of Vout vs time.

0804.lm26001_5V_out.pdf

The curve is like line chart (at around 4V, the slope changes.).

I think when the load current is changed at 4V, the voltage is droped at instant and is up at once.

But in the case of the customer's evaluation, the voltage ramp up is 2 steps.

What is the cause of this 2 steps? Is the cause related by LM26001 operation or the load current change?

  • I would like to understand more about how the plot was made.  It looks like a start-up from EN; correct?

Also, what kind of load is applied?  Is it a resistive load or active load?  It would be good to monitor the load at

the same time as the output voltage.

  • Dear Frank-san,

    Thank you for your comment.

The load is active. I think the load current flows before the output voltage approaches 5V.

The energy for approaching output voltage 5V is used for the load current and the longer time is needed.

    So, the slope becomes gently.

    Is it correct?
