power sequencing with TPS84320

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS84320

I am implementing a power up sequencing of two voltages using two modules of the TPS84320 where the input voltage is 12.0V.

The input voltage is 12V for both of them. The datasheet explains that the sequencing can be implemented by connecting the PWRGD pin of the first regulator to the INH of the second one. The PWRGD pin is an open drain output while the INH pin has an internal pull-up to VIN (12V).

However, the datasheet also also recommends for PWRGD output a pull-up resistor to a voltage source that is 5.5V or less.

Should I add an additional open drain transistor between PWRGD and INH to guarantee that the PWRGD pin has the recommended pull-up at the gate of the transistor??

Thanks in advance,
