LM3480 Operation at extreme low temp

We are looking to reuse the LM3480 device in a new application whose operational temp range could be as low as -55C. The datasheet reports that the operating temp range is -40C. What will happen to the device if we try and operate at -55C? I noticed a post similar to this for a similar device (LP2951) but not sure the response is applicable to the LM3480.

Any insight as to what might happen is greatly appreciated!

    There was no performance characterization done at any tempertures below -40C, so I have no specific information.

    All I can offer is my ~best guess~ that the LM3480 will continue to function and any tempco seen from zeroC to -40C will probably continue on similar slope(s) down to -55C.
